Member Area
The activities of the ISBM are designed to support individuals with an interest in the field of bone morphometry and skeletal imaging, including basic and clinical researchers, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in training, industry representatives, and technicians who utilize all relevant techniques. The ISBM welcomes all members regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, and sexual orientation.
Attendance at the most recent ISBM meeting automatically includes ISBM society membership until the start of the next meeting (cycle). If you have attended the most recent ISBM meeting – you are already an ISBM member. You can automatically renew your status by attending the next meeting without paying an extra fee.
If you did not attend the most recent ISBM meeting – you are welcome to join the society at any time. Your registration will be valid until the end of the next annual meeting. Each meeting cycle (time between meetings) is approximately 2- to 3-years. Fees are not prorated.
Membership fees:
· Full member: $150
- All members except for those currently in training
- Membership valid until the end of the next annual meeting
· In training member: $50
- Students and fellows (e.g. postdoctoral fellow, clinical fellow) with evidence of in training status
- Evidence of in training status will be requested upon membership registration (may include University registration, letter from PI, etc)
- Membership valid until the end of the next annual meeting
A discount of membership fees is available for members from low-income (100%) and middle-income (80%) countries as defined by the World Bank. To request a discount or waiver of membership fees, please contact the ISBM Treasurer and the ISBM President here.
